Campaign Description

This month-long campaign shines a light on pediatric cancers, raising funds for research, improving treatment access, and providing comprehensive support for children and their families throughout the cancer journey. It emphasizes hope, resilience, and the need for better outcomes for young patients.

Theme Focus

The 2026 theme focuses on turning awareness into action for children and adolescents with cancer, with particular attention to unequal access to diagnosis, treatment, supportive care and survivorship.

CCI's 2026 campaign explicitly highlights the global inequality in childhood cancer outcomes and calls on survivors, families, healthcare professionals, advocates, organizations and communities to participate.

Key Priorities

  • Improve early recognition and diagnosis of childhood cancers.
  • Expand equitable access to quality cancer treatment and care.
  • Reduce the influence of geography and socioeconomic circumstances on survival.
