Led by WHO since 2010, this day raises awareness of viral hepatitis (A–E), which causes over a million deaths annually, and pushes toward the 2030 elimination goal.


Theme Focus

The theme calls for breaking down the financial, social, and systemic barriers — cost, stigma, and fragmented health services — that prevent people from accessing testing, vaccination, and treatment.
